Why flexible secondary spill containment?

​Flexible spill containment offers a variety of benefits.  First and foremost, the collapsible nature of flexible fabric inherently lends itself to portability, compact storage, and cost-effective shipping options.  Second, flexible spill containment offers an increased usability for workers in terms of time and expense in setup and take-down.  Finally, flexible spill containment provides all the security of meeting Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations including Spill Protection Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) compliance.

What kinds of secondary spill containment is on the market?

Secondary spill containment comes in a wide array of formats, but the two most common categories are "fixed-wall" and "collapsible-wall" containment:

  • "Fixed-wall" containment includes "L-bracket" berms, "Foam Wall" berms, folding "Mini Berm", and large format "Fuel Berm Liner" styles.
  • "Collapsible-wall"  containment includes "Rising-collar Drive Thru" berms and "A-frame" berms.

Fuel Berm Liners

Prepping a section of liner for efficient install.

Fuel Berm Liners are the largest form of secondary containment.  Deployed mostly on industrial and military sites, fuel berm liners line an earthen berm usually housing a large fuel depot.

Manufactured to military specifications and deployed with only MILSPEC fabrics, our fuel berm liners offer the necessary and expected security for large fuel installations.
